Two major projects in Billings set to transform the local event scene and possibilities

Billings, Montana – With two new event facilities scheduled to open before the end of the year, Billings is in line for significant growth in its capacity for event hosting. These enhancements should change the local landscape for meetings, conferences, and community events.

Beginning at the Billings Hotel & Convention Center, the first of these additions will bring about roughly 16,000 square feet of new space. Along with raising the capacity of the facility, this expansion will help it to host larger gatherings. Investing $4.9 million, the new center section is intended to accommodate up to 2,000 people, becoming one of the best venues for big events in the area.

Simultaneously, Veeder Homestead, LLC is making major progress in turning the former Carmike Theater at 2225 Overland Drive into the Veeder Event Center. There is a 7,500-square-foot development to the current building among the 30,000 square feet of renovation planned. Once finished, the center will have cutting-edge technologies including large projection screens and live streaming capabilities, therefore guaranteeing a modern and flexible environment fit for up to 500 visitors.

Both event centers are expected to provide cutting-edge conveniences meant to satisfy the modern needs of attendees as well as organizers. This covers adaptable areas with modern technological tools that may be set aside for various kinds of events, from entertainment to seminars.

Specifically, the Veeder Event Center demonstrates a smart transformation of the former theater location into an attractive convention venue.

“So this area of town is a good area. It’s good for business,” said a Veeder spokesman stressing the projected positive influence the new center is expected to have on the local economic scene.

Billings’ residents and the business community are very excited about the expansion of the Billings Hotel & Convention Center set for completion in December and the projected opening of the Veeder Event Center just two months later. These projects promise to improve Billings’ reputation as a center for important events and cultural gatherings, thus strengthening the economic and social foundation of the community. Both projects are on track to reach their respective deadlines.
