Missoula, Montana – On Saturday morning, the Missoula Police Department detained a woman after a hit-and-run incident. The accident took place shortly before 8:00 AM on June 1, 2024, on the 4500 block of North Reserve Street, as reported on Missoula PD’s Facebook page.
When police arrived at the scene, they spotted a car trying to escape. Despite attempts by the police to stop her, the female driver kept going until she reached Hillview via Broadway and Russell.
The woman was taken into custody and was found driving a grey 2000 Chevy Impala with Washington license plates.
“We are reaching out to our community to request any motorists or pedestrians who were endangered, involved, or witnessed these events to come forward,” Missoula PD said in the post.

The police have issued a call for assistance, asking anyone who was nearby, involved, or saw the incident to come forward. They are particularly looking for those who had to swerve or stop to avoid being hit during the chase on Sunday morning.
