Billings sees infrastructure upgrade with Ziply Fiber installation, high-speed and affordable internet access for locals

Billings, Montana – Billings residents might have seen some fresh changes on Third Street by Pioneer Park this week. There are now orange tubes and traffic cones around, indicating that Washington-based online retailer Ziply Fiber is laying fresh underground cables. This is going to give the area faster and better internet.

A major step forward for the internet in Billings, Ziply Fiber began installing fresh routers in Billings on June 17. Ziply has been preparing for this for a long time, even so these developments didn’t occur out of nowhere. The company’s marketing manager, Ryan Luckin, said they had a lot of preparation to do. Before they could begin construction, this involved obtaining the required licenses and setting out specifics with the city to utilize the poles for their equipment.

“We had everything set up and ready to go,” Luckin explained as reported by Q2 News.

Even though Ziply isn’t originally from Montana, the company is keen to become a part of the Billings community. Luckin emphasized their commitment to being actively involved locally.

The launch of Ziply Fiber has already clearly had an impact; over 19,000 local residents have switched to their service. According to a recent Ziply update, next week another 2,500 routers will be installed. Many of these recent consumers used providers like Spectrum or Verizon, but changed to Ziply because of its better rates and simpler access. Starting at $20 a month, Ziply provides plans; discounts are also available for people from low-income or tribal homes.

Ziply is known for its symmetrical speed technology, which offers equal upload and download speeds. Those who work from home or have hybrid schedules will especially benefit from this since it guarantees seamless internet access.

The launch of Ziply Fiber has received a positive response from the people of Billings, who are excited about having more choices for internet service. Anyone curious about whether Ziply’s service reaches their area can find out by visiting the company’s website. Ziply Fiber is positioned to significantly impact the Billings community with its dedication to provide faster, more consistent, and reasonably priced internet.
